After you have submitted your request for a call tag, the information will be sent to the UPS center servicing your area. The following business day, UPS will attempt to pick up your firearm. If you are not available, UPS will leave a note stating that they attempted pick up. The note will include a telephone number that you may call to arrange for a pick up time that is more convenient for you. Regardless, UPS will make three pick up attempts. If none of the pick up attempts are successful, UPS will close the call tag. At that point, you will need to go generate a new call tag. Please click here to do so.
During the pick up process, the UPS driver will bring the shipping label for your firearm, affix it to your package and provide you with a receipt. Please ensure that you have packaged your firearm prior to the driver arriving.
Once your firearm is picked up by UPS, you can track the status of your shipment to Beretta here. Once your firearm is received at Beretta, you can check the status of your repair here. When your firearm is shipped back to you, if you provided an e-mail address when you generated your call tag, UPS will send an email to you with the tracking number. Since an adult signature is required for delivery of the pistol, you will be notified by UPS of the date that the delivery will be attempted. If you are unavailable at the time of the attempted delivery, the UPS driver will leave a notice advising you of the attempted delivery and a telephone number that you may call. If UPS is unsuccessful in delivering your pistol after three attempts, the pistol will be returned to Beretta.
